We feed ourselves with food, as well as with what we put on our skin. As the body’s largest organ, the skin is our protection against the elements, and a reflection of our inner health – and thus requires nourishment and thoughtful care.

Ayurveda offers wisdom on how we can best take care of our skin, based on individual needs as outlined by its system of the Doshas. Through this understanding, I have carefully chosen enriching oil formulations that nurture the skin, and coupled them with restorative blends of precious essential oils.

Ayurveda emphasizes eating simple, nourishing foods, and this is reflected in the design of each Saravat formula – made in small batches with only natural ingredients, and no preservatives or additives, each handmade item is designed with purpose and heart.

I chose the name Saravat because it is the Sanskrit word for steadfast, nourishing, precious, sumptuous – and because these are the qualities that define the intention behind each formula.

Underlying the ritual of adorning ourselves is the experience of slowing down and being in the moment; may these offerings support your journey of healing and rejuvenation.
